Abstract:This report summarizes the preliminary results of the survey undertaken by Grupo Jaragua in Cabo Rojo, Pedernales region of the Barahona Peninsula in the Dominican Republic. The main purpose of the survey was to search for and locate Cyclura ricordii habitats and populations in the region. We also assessed threats to the species and the extent of human impact on its populations.
