Show full item recordAbstract: | The bee genus Perdita Smith, 1853 (Panurginae) is recorded from the West Indies based on the new species, Perdita (Perdita) islacabritosensis sp. nov. from Isla Cabritos, a xeric island within salty Lago Enriquillo in the southeastern part of the Dominican Republic. The species is described and figured, and compared with putative relatives among the hyperdiverse subgenus Perdita. |
