The BES-Net Trialogues are multi-sectoral dialogues between the political, scientific and practice sectors that focus on specific issues in regulations and policies at the national and regional levels. The aim of the discussions was to facilitate the assimilation of the findings of the assessment on pollinators, pollination and food production of the Intergovernmental Scientific-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES). During the event, discussions were held on key issues on the best ways to protect pollinators, as well as their role in food security and resilience to the effects of climate change. |
