Show full item recordAbstract: | Non-systematic searches for Kirtland’s Warbler (Dendroica kirtlandii) were made in the Dominican Republic during 5-18 March 1985. Here we describe the first confirmed record of Kirtland’s Warbler from the Dominican Republic. Our observation also represents the southernmost record of the species. We also recorded the numbers of other bird species found. From those observations, we report on three other species new to the country, and provide data on 22 additional species. |
