Abstract:The Americas represent several global regions which are geographically, administratively, and culturally extremely diverse. Thus it is not possible to aggregate destinations, products, or challenges. The intent here is to paint a broad picture with select examples of destinations, products, and challenges, to give a snap shot of the situation in the International Year of Ecotourism.
