Abstract | The study reveals that few people in the general public are aware that the Caribbean harbors the highest mountains in the Americas outside of the main western ranges. The results presented here modestly improve the precision of this claim to fame and conclusively establish Pico Duarte as the tallest peak in the region. | es |
