Notwithstanding its limited resources (human and financial) during the past ten (10) years, the Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre has been able to mobilize external resources which assisted its Member States to support their adaptation and mitigation programme. The major activities conducted by the Centre in the Region in its first ten years of operation have been highlighted in this booklet. The Centre has been accredited by the Green Climate Fund (GCF) as a regional implementing entity. It now has the capacity to develop and implement both adaptation and mitigation projects valued at US$10 million to US$50 million. We look forward to providing significantly more assistance to all Member States during the next ten years. |
