Abstract:This characterization study of Caribbean marine protected areas (MPAs) forms one component of a larger study, Institutional evaluation of Caribbean MPAs and opportunities for pro-poor management, which is being carried out by MRAG Ltd. under the framework of the Natural Resources Systems Programme of the United Kingdom Department for International Development. The characterization study was carried out by the Caribbean Natural Resources Institute (CANARI) through a Memorandum of Understanding between CANARI and MRAG Ltd.
