Show full item recordAbstract: | This publication contains a series of tools to empower groups and communities in relation to water resources management. The publication has been designed interactively using the most advanced technology, taking into consideration that today's youth require a different kind of stimulation if they show interest in environmental education. This document encourages and facilitates group activities and the sharing of ideas, leading to the identification of solutions to common problems in the management of water resources in the Small Island Developing States (SIDS). It also uses real-life examples from the Caribbean region to make the topics more practical. Although it was prepared for the Caribbean, it can be used in other regions with SIDS as a reference document when involving groups in water management. This material has been produced through the Project for the Integration of Watershed and Coastal Area Management in Small Island Developing States in the Caribbean (IWCAM), funded by the Global Environment Facility (GEF). |
