AbstractDocumentamos un sitio de anidación recientemente activo del flamenco (Phoenicopterus ruber) para la zona de Bucán de Base, en el suroeste de la República Dominicana. En los últimos 30 años, no se había reportado nidificación de esta especie en la isla. Por ende, este hallazgo representa si no el único, uno de los pocos sitios de anidación de flamencos que se preservan en la Española.es
