Abstract

The Summer 2025 issue of Coral Chronicles Quarterly Newsletter (The Nature Conservancy’s CoralCarib program) presents new research on coral larval dispersal across the Caribbean. It highlights how ocean currents, temperature, and habitat connectivity shape gene flow and reef resilience, and showcases regional collaborations combining oceanography, genetics, and conservation to map “larval highways.” The issue underscores transboundary cooperation as essential for designing climate-resilient coral refuges and marine protected networks.
