AbstractSe describe la dualidad del río Nizao (San Cristóbal, República Dominicana) como un atractivo turístico de creciente popularidad y, al mismo tiempo, un espacio donde la falta de planificación genera riesgos para visitantes y comunidades. El texto señala la ausencia de infraestructura adecuada, el manejo deficiente de residuos y los peligros de crecidas repentinas, destacando la necesidad de una gestión integral del recurso hídrico.es
