Abstract

Project overview: Strengthen management of La Humeadora Mountain National Park through implementation of the site's management plan, which was prepared with CEPF funding in 2012. This grant supports the establishment of an alliance of local stakeholders and resource users to strengthen local park governance; environmental education to increase awareness of the park's ecosystem service values; conservation of endangered amphibians and birds; restoration of degraded lands; and the implementation of a process framework for potential safeguard policy triggers.
