AbstractCaribbean Endemic Bird Festival (CEBF) day 53 poster, dedicated to the Hispaniolan Pewee. This little flycatcher is not very well known, despite being fairly widespread on the island of Hispaniola where it is endemic. It is found in lowlands, foothills and mountains, but is restricted mostly to undisturbed habitats and remote areas. It’s mostly brown and gray coloration allows it to remain unnoticed, unless it sallies out to catch an insect. Then, you have to watch closely where it goes to see if you can spot it perched. It often returns to the same perch, or one close by. As a complement to the poster, a coloring sheet is included.es
