AbstractThis video provides an overview of the Sandwatch program including objectives and methodology. Sandwatch is a volunteer network of children, youth and adults working together to monitor and analyse changes in their beach environment, share their findings with the wider community and then take action to address issues. In doing so, Sandwatch practitioners enhance their beach environment and help build ecosystem resilience to climate change. The training videos here provide viewers the opportunity to review the methods used by Sandwatch to monitor beach changes and beach activities. These videos were prepared between 2012 and 2013, with the support of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the Government of Denmark and the University of Puerto Rico - Sea Grant College Program (UPR-SGCP).es
