SinopsisThis project arose from the observation, supported by previous studies, that the need to reform coastal resource governance in the countries of Central America and the Caribbean (CAC) is urgent. The goal of this project was to promote sustainable development of fisheries and other coastal resources, and to enhance food security and livelihoods of those who depend upon these resources, in the Central American and Caribbean region, through improved governance. The intermediate objective of the project was to develop information, strategies and policies for coastal resources governance reform in the Central American and Caribbean region through comanagement.es
