AbstractThe primary purposes of this paper are to help focus attention on potential environmental impacts of possible upcoming trade liberalization agreements involving the Dominican Republic and identify and discuss a range of responses and mitigating measures for managing such impacts. In pursuing these purposes and conducting the associated eco-environmental analyses, it was our great pleasure to consult with a broad cross-section of individuals representing public and private entities associated with a variety of economic sectors and environmental interests in this country.es
