SinopsisThis report includes global programs and country-specific programs in fiscal year 2012, and overall summary of U.S. Climate Finance 2010-2012. The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) is providing $2.3 million to support climate change adaptation initiatives and reduce the economic impact of weather-related disasters in the Dominican Republic. Activities of these initiatives will include strengthening public and private institutions responsible for climate change adaptation and contributing to the Dominican Republic’s action plan to address climate impacts on critical sectors including tourism, agriculture, and water management.
