Abstract	Material de la campaña educativa «Manglar ES vida, futuro, protección», una iniciativa del Grupo Jaragua auspiciada por Seacology. Esta hoja informativa, con atractivas ilustraciones educativas, brinda valioso contenido sobre la vida, el futuro y la protección de la biodiversidad de los manglares de la República Dominicana. Entre las especies que se encuentran están la garza blanca, los flamencos, cucharetas, pelícanos, las tijeretas, rey congo, y el canario de manglar, las cuales utilizan estos ecosistemas para anidar, refugiarse o alimentarse. También es posible encontrar mamíferos, como el manatí y la jutía; reptiles, como lagartos, iguanas, culebras y tortugas marinas o de agua dulce; también crustáceos, como cangrejos y camarones.	es
