Integrating stakeholders in participatory natural resource management : ecotourism project of El Limón waterfall, Dominican Republic

Abstract

This case study is one of the products of a research project entitled “Synthesizing the Caribbean experience in stakeholder analysis for participatory natural resource management”. The goal of this study focuses on diversifying, regulating, and optimizing the use of natural resources and the environment by local groups involved in tourism, in the area of the Samaná Bay.
